Welcome to the website for Friends Peace House.

Friends Peace House is a Rwandan NGO that works to holistically heal and transform communities that are still suffering the aftereffects and trauma brought about by the 1994 Genocide. We work at educating individuals on the practical peace building techniques (such as mediation, conflict resolution and alternatives to violence prevention) so that they can be local resources for peace building. We also work at trauma healing in communities, which allows for reconciliation amongst neighbors.

Please note that this website is under construction and some pages/entries may be less detailed than we would like. More content is coming in the near future.
